Prayer & community
We close with prayer — for our church, our city, and one another. After the service, stay back. Have a chai, meet someone new, and tell us your story.
Things people often ask.
What language is the service in?
Our entire service — worship, prayer, and the message — is in Nepali. If you understand Nepali, you'll feel right at home. If you're learning, this is a great place to grow.
Is there a dress code?
No. Come as you are. People wear everything from casual clothes to traditional attire. What matters is that you came.
Are children welcome?
Absolutely. We have a kids ministry that meets during the service with songs, Bible stories, and activities. If you'd rather keep your kids with you, that's perfectly fine too.
How long is the service?
About two hours, from 9:00 to 11:00 AM. Most people stay a bit afterward to chat, but you're free to leave whenever you need to.
Will I be asked to give money?
There's an offering moment during the service, but it's entirely optional. As a guest, please don't feel any pressure. We're glad you came.
What if I'm not a Christian?
You're welcome anyway. Many people who come to GHNC are exploring, asking questions, or just curious. There's no pressure to believe a certain way to be part of our community.
How big is the church?
We're a community of over 100 members — large enough to find your people, small enough that you won't be a stranger.
Can I watch online if I can't make it in person?
Yes. Our services and many of our messages are available on our YouTube channel and at ghnc.tv, our media ministry.
Don't know where to start?
If you're new, the easiest first step is just visiting on Sunday. Come, meet a few people, and we'll help you figure out where you fit.
